Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies.

Last updated: 17 October 2026.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage (data a site keeps in your browser) and tracking pixels (small pieces of code that report a visit or an action to another company).

How we use them

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies, with equal options to accept all, reject all or choose. Until you accept, nothing that tracks you for analytics or advertising is set:

  • The Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) loads only after you accept marketing cookies. It records page views and completed enquiries so we can see which adverts work.
  • Google tags (Google Ads) load only after you accept analytics or marketing cookies. Before that, nothing is sent to Google from this site for measurement.
  • We do not use session-recording or heat-map tools.

cleeo_attrSession storage (local storage only if you accept marketing cookies)Remembers how you arrived (landing page, referring site, campaign tags, gclid/fbclid) so an enquiry can be credited to the right page or advert.Until you close the tab; with marketing consent, until you clear it or withdraw consentEssential to the enquiry; kept longer only with marketing consent
_gcl_*Cookie (Google Ads)Measures which Google adverts lead to enquiries.90 daysMarketing — only with consent
_fbpCookie (Meta pixel)Identifies your browser to Meta so it can measure our adverts.90 daysMarketing — only with consent
_fbcCookie (set by our site from the fbclid in a Meta advert link)Records that you arrived from a Meta advert.90 daysMarketing — only with consent
__cf_bmCookie (Cloudflare)Cloudflare may set this to tell people from bots and protect the site.30 minutesEssential

Our site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts. This sets no cookies, but your browser sends your IP address to Google to fetch them.

Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Rejecting marketing cookies removes the stored arrival details from your browser; cookies already set by Meta or Google expire on their own or can be deleted in your browser settings.
